A Cedar Lake woman and a Hammond man were arrested after robbing a Lafayette man last month, police said.
Indiana State Police said the Lafayette man met the Cedar Lake woman online.
Amber Dovichi, 30, of Cedar Lake, and Joshua Flores, 33, of Hammond, were charged with armed robbery and criminal confinement after warrants were issued for their arrests.
U.S. marshals and Hammond police found Flores on Friday at a relative's home in Hammond and took him into custody, police said. Dovichi was taken into custody March 19 at a relative's home in Cedar Lake, police said.
The Lafayette man met Dovichi online and visited her once before meeting her March 15 at a Crown Point exit on Interstate 65, police said. Dovichi allegedly was accompanied by Flores.
The man told police he followed Dovichi and Flores in his vehicle to Hammond, where Flores got out of the car, went into a home and returned, sitting in the back of Dovichi's vehicle.
Police said Flores then put a gun to the man's head and demanded everything in his pockets.
The man emptied his pockets and was driven back to his car and given his keys, police said. He then drove to the Indiana State Police Lowell Post to report the robbery.
