CROWN POINT | The third annual Run Dirty 5K and 10K Race will be held at 8 a.m. Sunday at Lemon Lake County Park to benefit the Cedar Lake Boys & Girls Club.

The event is a challenging cross-country trail race through the scenic, and sometimes, muddy park at 6322 W. 133rd Ave..

“Now in it’s third year, the number of entrants is growing," said Race Director Misty Chandos. " It’s a hybrid race, all of our obstacles are natural, but the course will challenge you with the natural topography and water crossings. It’s a family race for all skill levels.

“We are proud to support the Cedar Lake Boys & Girls Club,” Chandos added. “They are a great organization that does so much to help the community and our kids.”

Registration is available online only at https://www.signmeup.com/site/reg/register.aspx?fid=4K2VCJ7 until 6 p.m. Saturday.
