CROWN POINT | The Center Township trustee's office food pantry is running low on supplies needed for families for the holiday season, Trustee Eldon Strong said.

The trustee's office is seeking donations. Items can be dropped off at the Center Township trustee's office, 1450 E. Joliet St., during regular business hours.

Other arrangements can be made by calling the office at (219) 663-0250.

Items most needed include cereals, canned meats, soups and fruit, boxed meal kits and soap, deodorant, toothpaste and baby diapers. For a full list of most needed items, contact the trustee's office.

"We have found that these items help our friends through their difficult times and provide for their needs," Strong said.
