Congratulations to The Multicultural Wellness Network as it celebrates its 10th anniversary with a Red Carpet Celebration at 6 p.m. Sept. 25 at the Center for Visual & Performing Arts in Munster.

Symphony gala and concert
Indiana University Northwest will host the Northwest Indiana Symphony Gala and Concert at Horseshoe Casino, 777 Casino Center Drive, Hammond, on Sept. 24. The featured singers will be soprano Angela Mannino and tenor John Sumners, both from the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music, and the Northwest Symphony Chorus.
The Love and Heartbreaks Duet Gala will start at 6 p.m. with the concert following at 8 p.m. The gala will provide a feast of Italian specialties for dining, or attend just the concert and share a dessert and champagne toast at intermission. Group sales are also available.
