CROWN POINT | The Crown Point Fraternal Order of Police is accepting donations for its annual Shop with a Cop program.
The FOP again will partner with the Schererville Walmart, which has donated $1,000 to the program. The FOP will obtain a list of children in need from Crown Point elementary schools.
Last year, the FOP took almost two dozen children shopping. Donations may be sent to the Crown Point FOP Shop with a Cop, P.O. Box 603, Crown Point, IN 46307 or dropped off at the Police Department, 124 N. East St.
