CROWN POINT | Registration for all kindergarten classes is scheduled for Tuesday and Thursday at Crown Point Community School Corp. elementary schools.
Kindergarten students must be 5 years old on or before Aug. 1 to enroll for the 2013-14 school year. It is not mandatory for students to come with parents to registration, but they are welcome.
The following information is required for registration: the child's certified birth certificate (not a hospital certificate), the immunization record, the child's Social Security card, a parent's current driver's license or state photo ID, and two documents such as utility bills to prove residency.
Registration at Lake Street, Solon Robinson and Winfield elementary schools is from 9 to 11:30 a.m. and 1 to 3 p.m. Tuesday.
Registration at Eisenhower, MacArthur and Timothy Ball elementary schools is from 9 to 11:30 a.m. and 1 to 3 p.m. Thursday.
Kindergarten classes will be held on the day of registration at the individual buildings.
