CROWN POINT | An outdoor garden area near the entrance to the Crown Point Community Library, 122 N. Main St., can be used for children's story-time events during summer months under an agreement with the Crown Point Board of Public Works and Safety.
The board agreed to the request from library officials.
Library spokesman Laura Clemons said the summer story-time events in previous years had been held at the Lake County Fairgrounds. Locating instead at the library entrance enables the events to be moved inside the library in inclement weather, Clemons said.
The story-time events will start sometime in June, Clemons said.
