CROWN POINT | St. Mary Catholic Community School in Crown Point will hold celebrate silver Sunday as it hosts its 25th annual Pancake Breakfast, Bake Sale and Open House.
All the pancakes you can eat will be served from 7 a.m. to noon Sunday in Hammes Hall at St. Mary Catholic Community School, 405 E. Joliet St.
Pancakes will be served with fruit toppings and whipped cream, and the meal also includes sausage, orange juice, milk, and a bottomless cup of coffee.
Tickets, available at the door, are $6 for adults and $5 for senior citizens and children 12 years and younger.
This event is sponsored by the St. Mary Home and School Association, and all proceeds benefit the school.
Those interested in learning more about the school’s values-based education are invited to attend the open house from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday. An evening open house will also be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday for families who cannot attend Sunday.
"St. Mary’s offers superior academics and a safe, structured environment within a warm, compassionate community along with a wide variety of sports, clubs, and other activities," Principal Tom Ruiz said. "Attendees will have an opportunity to tour the school, meet the outstanding faculty, witness the cutting edge technology, and learn more about the St. Mary’s tradition, which was started in 1872."
St. Mary’s is an Indiana Department of Education Exemplary Status, Grade A, Four Star School.
