CROWN POINT | The Crown Point Community School Corp. board on Monday approved course additions for the 2013-2014 school year at Crown Point High School.
The approved courses are Computer Programming I, Intermediate Precision Machine Technology, Introduction to Engineering Robotics and Computer Science A, Advanced Placement.
Also approved were the courses Pre-calculus Trigonometry, AP Psychology, Spanish 2 Immersion and Spanish 3 Immersion.
The reason for the new courses is to advance student readiness in vocational, advanced placement and dual credit offerings, School Board officials said.
The board also approved the appointment of Jeffery Martin to a four-year term on the Crown Point Library Board.
