CROWN POINT | The Crown Point Community Library celebrated the placement of the last beam at a recent holiday open house on Saturday, December 10.
Refreshments were provided by the Friends of the Library, and members of the Crown Point Intermediate Girls Choir and the Eisenhower Singers sang Christmas carols throughout the day. Children gathered around the tree house to read to the dogs and the Power Paws organization handed out treats for all the readers.
"It was a wonderful and busy afternoon at the Crown Point Library," said Laura Clemons, Crown Point Community Library communications specialist.
