CROWN POINT | This fall, Crown Point High School introduced the Naviance program for all students grades 9-12.
According to naviance.com, “Naviance is a college and career readiness platform that helps connect academic achievement to post-secondary goals. Its comprehensive college and career planning solutions optimize student success, enhance school counselor productivity, and track results for school and district administrators.”
The introduction of Naviance began in August with a video presentation from Assistant Principal Robert McDermott.
Principal Chip Pettit and the CPHS Guidance Department also offered individualized presentations to both the junior and senior classes as they entered their college application and planning process.
Parents, who also have access to their students’ Family Connection accounts, were provided with access to the video presentation via the CPHS school website, as well.
