CROWN POINT | Students reached record breaking AP success rates with 111 Crown Point High School students earning the designation of AP Scholar by the College Board in recognition of their exceptional achievement on the college-level Advanced Placement Program Exams.
“CPHS students set an all-time high with 64 percent of all students taking an AP exam scoring 3 or better. Our teachers and students have done a fantastic job. The commitment to providing post-secondary value for students is reinforced with 66 percent of the Class of 2013 earning at least 3 college credits or scoring 3+ on at least one AP exam,” CPHS Principal Chip Pettit said.
