CROWN POINT | Culver's of Crown Point will open for business Monday morning.
Construction of the 4,200-square-foot restaurant got underway in September at 1700 E. Summit St., on the northwest corner of Broadway and Summit Street in the Crown Village commercial center.
It will be open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. every day with the exception of a few holidays. There are 45 team members at the Crown Point location, which is owned by Fred Terpstra and Mike Wondaal.
They also own Culver's restaurants in Highland and Merrillville.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony is planned at 9 a.m. March 6. Craig Culver, co-founder and CEO of the chain, and Wondall and Terpstra will be on on hand to welcome guests to Culver's 32nd location in Indiana.
Representatives from the Crossroads Regional Chamber of Commerce, the Crown Point City Council and Mayor David Uran are expected to be at the March 6 ceremony as well.
