CROWN POINT | The Crown Point High School has been selected to receive a Safety Award from the Lake County Emergency Management Agency in recognition of its efforts in Emergency Preparedness and Community Outreach in the event of a terrorist attack. In addition, the high school has participated in timed exercises to test their effectiveness as a Point of Dispensing (POD).

The award will be presented during a luncheon on Thursday, September 26 at Tiebel's Restaurant in Schererville.
