CROWN POINT | The Crown Point Board of Public Works and Safety approved 2014 contracts with city attorneys David Nicholls, Alex Kutanovski, Mark Gruenhagen and Joseph Irak.
Terms and dollar amounts went unchanged from 2013 agreements.
Nicholls, the city attorney, is to be paid an annual retainer fee of $72,333, paid in monthly installments, and an hourly rate not to exceed $150 an hour for nonroutine legal services such as litigation, issuing municipal bonds and special public works projects.
Kutanovski is to be paid an annual retainer of $30,000, paid over 12 months. Irak and Gruenhagen are each to be paid $10,049 annually, over 12 months.
Kutanovski, Irak and Gruenhagen, all assistant city attorneys, are each to be paid an hourly fee not to exceed $125 an hour for nonroutine legal services.
