Crown Point officials name Cash building administrator

CROWN POINT | Crown Point officials on Wednesday announced the hiring of Building Administrator Joe Cash.

Cash will work in the Planning and Building Department handling building permits and other matters. He started on the job earlier this month.

Cash is a 20-year veteran city employee who previously worked as a lab technician at the wastewater treatment plant.

Cash fills a position created last year in a restructuring of the Planning and Building Department.

The building administrator salary is set at between $57,000 and $63,000, according to the 2013 salary ordinance.
