CROWN POINT | The Crown Point Robotic Team, Robodogs, will be competing at the Crossroads Regional in Terre Haute the first week of April.
The team attended the Boilermaker Regional last weekend at Purdue University in West Lafayette. Headed by Team Captain, Caleb Kreis, the Robodogs competed with 40 other teams from as far away as Hawaii and Puerto Rico.
The task of the robot in the competition was to accurately toss Frisbees for points into designated areas and climb a 7.5 ft. tower. The Robodogs Robot was successful in gaining Frisbee points and points for climbing the tower.
Many local businesses and Foundations support this successful team. Those interested in contributing to the Robodogs with time, materials, services or funds should contact Donna Burrell Pace at (219) 746-2993 for more information on how to help.
