CROWN POINT | Crown Point City Council President Andrew Kyres recently earned the certified municipal official designation from the Indiana Association of Cities and Towns.
Kyres, D-3rd, received the designation after acheiving four levels of certification as part of his participation in the IACT Municipal Management Institute.
The institute provides programs to municipal officials in Indiana to help them sharpen management skills and learn techniques for handling common local issues and improving services to citizens.
