CROWN POINT | Owners of a downtown Crown Point building will seek Board of Zoning Appeals approval in August for a variance to permit a hanging sign on the building.
The proposed sign exceeds permitted size at the location.
Matt and Sandy Bapple are restoring the facade of the more-than-century-old building at 101 N. Main St. to its original look. The couple's Bapple & Bapple CPA firm occupies all three floors of the building.
The sign saying Bapple & Bapple Inc. CPA is proposed to be suspended from the upper floors of the southeast corner of the building.
The Board of Zoning Appeals is scheduled to meet at 7 p.m. Aug. 26 in City Hall, 101 N. East St.
