CROWN POINT | The Northwest ISBDC and inSourceCode are partnering to offer “Ask the Experts: How your Business Wins with the Web” from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Thursday April 24 at the Purdue Technology Center of Northwest Indiana, 9800 Connecticut Drive.
Refreshments and networking will launch the no-cost informal event that will focus on how businesses succeed online. Jayson Manship, lead nerd at inSourceCode, will discuss how online conversations are happening at sites such as Facebook, Yelp and Angie’s List and how business owners must own the conversation or risk getting left behind.
There is no cost for the event but registration is requested. To register, visit www.nwisbdc.org, click on seminars and events, select “Northwest” under centers, the workshop and follow instructions or call (219) 644-3513.
The event will include step-by-step instructions to help users of all skill levels and there will be time for open questions and networking.
“Every participant will be empowered with free Web site tools including SEO assistance and Web site diagnostics,” said inSourceCode Director of Sales Brooke Heffernan. “Additionally, we'll touch on topics like: email, data, online directories and social media. We’re here as a resource. Ask us anything and we'll cater to the room.”
Serving seven counties in the region, the NW-ISBDC offers no-cost assistance for entrepreneurs starting or expanding their businesses.
