CROWN POINT | The Crown Point Community Library’s first art exhibition, “First Impressions,” features artwork by Advanced Art students from Crown Point High School. The exhibit runs through November and can be viewed in the meeting room hallway during normal library hours.

An opening reception was held Oct. 23 with refreshments and and select student artists on hand to discuss their artwork with Visual Art teachers Karen Cox, Visual Arts Department chair, Painting and AP Studio instructor; Lindsay Cox, 3D, Ceramics and Jewelry instructor; Dorothy Duffala, Visual Communications and Drawing instructor; and Lyndsey Sadler, 2D and Printmaking instructor.

This inaugural art exhibit at the Crown Point Community Library celebrates “One Year On Main Street,” the one-year anniversary of the library's new home at 122 N. Main St.
