CROWN POINT | The theft of a video game player and several video games from a car in Crown Point led to the arrest of two juveniles late last month.
The victim told police the game player and games were taken from his car parked in the 200 block of Maple Street at about 10 p.m. Feb. 27.
Footprints in the snow led police to two 16-year-olds several blocks away. The game player and games reported stolen from the car were found in a purse belonging to one of the suspects, police said.
The suspect admitted taking the items, police said. Police took both juveniles into custody. They were housed in the Lake County Juvenile Center for theft, police said.
