Tour the Statehouse
While visiting Indianapolis, why not stop in for a free tour of the Indiana Statehouse?
The Statehouse Tour Office is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, with tours given from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. On Saturdays, tours leave the Statehouse Rotunda at 10:15 and 11 a.m., noon and 1 p.m.
There are three different tours that can be scheduled during the week. The Welcome Tour is a 15-minute orientation lecture in the Statehouse Rotunda. After the lecture, guests tour the building on their own, but without access to executive, legislative or judicial rooms or offices.
The Express Tour lasts 30 to 45 minutes. Guests get an overview of the Statehouse and a guided view of the Indiana House and Senate and the Indiana Supreme Court chambers.
The Statehouse Tour is 90 minutes, with as many as 120 people. Combines building and state history, the group visits an office in each branch of government, depending on availability, as well as the House, Senate and Supreme Court.
Call (317) 233-5293 or email email@example.com.

Give school a call
In closing this week, I offer my sincere apologies to Tom Ruiz and St. Mary Catholic Community School. For two weeks in a row, I included the wrong phone number for the school. This correct phone number is (219) 663-0676, and St. Mary’s is still accepting new students in its nursery, preschool and kindergarten through eighth-grade classes.
