Deb Thill and Deb Walters were recognized as 2013 honorees from the First Congressional District at the 32nd annual Tribute to Women dinner hosted by the Indiana Federation of Republican Women and held in Plainfield.
Thill, a charter member of Lake Ridge Republican Women’s Club, serves on the Board of Directors for the Old Sheriff’s House Foundation in Crown Point, where she resides.
Walters is also from Lake Ridge Republican Women’s Club and serves on the St. John Township Advisory Board.
The president of the National Federation of Republican Women, Rae Chornenky, Indiana First Lady Karen Pence, U.. Rep. Susan Brooks, and Indiana Secretary of State Connie Lawson joined IFRW President Tresa Baker in recognizing Thill and Walters for their outstanding service and leadership in the Indiana Republican Party.
“The Tribute to Women is one way the Indiana Republicans can acknowledge the tremendous volunteer work women contribute to make a difference in Indiana," Baker said. "Republican elected officials and candidates realize the commitment of time and energy that Federation members have given to make their elections successful.
