CROWN POINT | A 21-year-old Lowell man was sentenced to four years in prison after admitting earlier this year he stalked a woman, officials said.

Dustin Frampton pleaded guilty to Class C felony stalking in Lake County court after admitting he told a woman he was going to hire a hit man to kill her, according to a news release from the Lake County prosecutor's office.

Frampton admitted he threatened to kill the woman and members of her family in a series of threats over a two-year period, officials said.
