CROWN POINT | St. Mary Catholic Community School’s preschool is for students who are 3 or 4 years old by Aug. 1. It is called Lil’ Wildcats Preschool. The Lil’ Wildcats recently celebrated the marriage of Miss Q and Mr. U.
Professional vocalist and St. Mary’s aide, Virginia Potter, began the ceremony by singing Q "You Light Up My Life." Preschool teacher, Dee Samyn, presided as the acting official while Miss Q, played by Saoirse Mullally and Mr. U, played by Dominic Villarreal, recited their vows.
The children discussed the words that Mrs. and Mr. Qu make together such as quack, quick, quiet, quilt, and many more.
The wedding was attended by Mardee Saad's Pre-K classes, and Linda Mesich's Kindergarten class. Students enjoyed wedding treats and party favors. The ceremony ended with the chicken dance.
