Rezone request for business is withdrawn in Crown Point

A request has been withdrawn to rezone land at 1217 N. Main St. in Crown Point.

The request had been submitted to the Crown Point Plan Commission.

A public hearing on the request was rescheduled to Nov. 12 when the petitioner failed to appear at the Plan Commission's Oct. 10 meeting. The request was withdrawn prior to the Nov. 12 meeting, officials said.

The petitioner had sought rezoning to business from residential for a commercial use of the land.
