CROWN POINT | St. Jude House has been selected as the only Northwest Indiana charity to participate in the 2014 Chicago Auto Show's First Look for Charity.

The annual black-tie event is Friday at McCormick Place in Chicago. It includes a private reception with musical entertainment, a silent auction and a complimentary coat check.

A preview of the Chicago Auto Show will run from 7 to 10 p.m. and features cocktails and hors d'oeuvres, entertainment by Sixteen Candles and a chance to win a 2014 Toyota Highlander or Toyota Corolla.

St. Jude House will receive all the proceeds for tickets bought through St. Jude on its behalf for First Look for Charity.

Individual tickets are $250, with a tax deductible portion of $207. Complimentary transportation from Northwest Indiana to the event is available.

For more information or to buy tickets, call Veronica Castellanos, St. Jude House development manager, at (219) 662-7066, ext. 14.
