CROWN POINT | Calling all avid readers and avid golfers: Mark your calendars because miniature golf is coming to the Crown Point Community Library. The first annual “A Hole Lot of Fun” mini golf event will be held on June 1 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The new library will be transformed into an 18-hole miniature putting course for the day. The course will be set up throughout the first and second floors, including a special “19th Hole” in the meeting rooms that will feature refreshments, games and more.
For the bargain price of only $5 a player or $20 for a group of five, golfers will have a “hole lot of fun” winding their way through book stacks, hallways, reading areas and stairwells.
The library will be open for business during its normal Saturday hours, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Although there will be extra hubbub from the golfers and their fans, library staff will make every effort to provide the usual high level of service that our community expects.
Proceeds from this event will support programming and events for children, teens and adults at both the Crown Point Library and Winfield Branch Library.
The library would like to thank these early sponsors for supporting this fun event: McCarroll Dental, Franciscan St. Anthony Health Crown Point, Centier Bank, Liss Carstar, Vanis Salon & Day Spa, Crown Point Family Fun Center, White Hawk Country Club, Saddle & Spurs 4H Club, The Crown Town Grill, The City of Crown Point, The Idea Factory, Janet Katich and Laura Zato Art & Photography. Sponsorship opportunities are still available. Businesses and organizations take advantage of a great advertising opportunity and call Laura today at 219-306-4599, email at email@example.com or visit crownpointlibrary.org/Miniature-Golf-Event.html.
