CROWN POINT | Police made three arrests early Sunday following a bar fight.

Deputy Chief Jim Janda said police were called at 1:55 p.m. to Diamond Jim's, near the downtown square, because a large group was fighting.

Todd W. Stahoviak, 22, of Crown Point, whom police said appeared to be the aggressor, was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct, public intoxication and resisting law enforcement.

Jeffrey Ryan Polk, 25, of Crown Point, was arrested and charged with public intoxication and disorderly conduct, and Jeffrey A. Ogan, 22, of Hebron, was arrested and charged with public intoxication, police said.

Janda said despite 13,000 to 14,000 people participating in Crown Point St. Patrick's Day activities, there were only a few isolated problems, which were quickly handled.
