CROWN POINT | Crown Point's Gamma Theta chapter of Tri Kappa sorority will soon be selling handmade chocolate Easter Eggs, packaged and ready for gift giving.
Tri Kappa members make these 4 oz. chocolate eggs, available for $4 each. There are a variety of fillings to choose from: peanut butter, caramel, coconut cream, chocolate cream, raspberry, maple nut and krunch.
The sale of these Easter eggs is the chapter's largest fundraiser, raising more than $9,000 for Crown Point area high school scholarships.
The eggs may be purchased beginning Monday at more than 20 locations in Crown Point, including Amy Laurie's Eclectic Boutique, Artful Garden, Blooming Nails, Brad's Designs, Bryan's Florist Centier Bank's Main Branch, Citizens Federal, Copper Butterfly, Front Gate, Gepettos, Hair Shapers, Hub Bootery Indiana Welcome Center (in Hammond), Main Source Bank, Memory Keepers, Mullens and Assoc., Old Green Shutters, Panache, Rosemary's, Shirer Ins., South Shore Arts (in Munster), Strack and Van Til stores (in Crown Point, St. John and Schedrerville), The Yoga Room, Thomas Williams, Tiffany's Tea Room, Twelve Islands and Valentino's.
