CROWN POINT | Vanis Salon and Day Spa in Crown Point is holding a Cut-a-Thon May 5 from noon to 4 p.m. All proceeds from this event will go to the Boys and Girls Clubs of Northwest Indiana’s Cedar Lake Club to help enrich their academic programs.
The Boys & Girls Clubs of Northwest Indiana serves 11,000 youth throughout Lake County offering after school and summer programs focusing on five core areas: Character & Leadership Development, Education & Career Development, Health & Life Skills, The Arts, and Sports & Fitness.
Through fundraising events like the “Vanis Cares Cut-a-Thon” the Clubs are able to keep their membership at $10 per year, per child, offering bright futures for our youth.
Vanis Salon & Day Spa will be offering haircuts for a minimum donation of $30 which will go to the Cedar Lake Club.
“This event is going to be amazing thanks to the generosity of local businesses and the Vanis staff, Jay from Vanis said. "We are going to offer fabulous hair, great food, generous giveaways, and all the proceeds go to a great cause!”
The event will have giveaways from local businesses and delicious American food donated from Station 21, topped off with treats donated from Crown Town Grill. Feel free to enjoy a complementary hand message, skin-care consult or make-up touch up after your cut from a Vanis Professional.
