MERRILLVILLE | U.S. Rep. Pete Visclosky, D-Merrillville, will hold 19 Town Forums throughout Indiana’s First Congressional District this month. Visclosky hosts the forums each year to give constituents an opportunity to ask questions and to provide an update on the issues facing the region and the country.
“Northwest Indiana and the country are faced with many opportunities, including the opportunity to create good-paying jobs through infrastructure investments. These forums allow me to hear the views of my constituents so that I can best represent them in our nation’s capital.”
Local students will lead the Pledge of Allegiance and introduce Visclosky to their communities at the start of each forum.
