Dyer approves contract for employee drug, alcohol tests

DYER | The Town Council has approved a contract for employee drug and alcohol testing.

The contract is with International Testing, Inc., a company which has long had a drug testing contract with the Dyer Public Works Department.

Public Works performs random drug and alcohol tests on those employees with a commercial driver’s license. The Dyer Police Department also performs such tests.

The council recently approved a new policy that covers all town employees.
