Dyer awarding cash bonuses to part-time staff, firefighters

DYER | The Town Council has decided to give part-time employees and firefighters a bonus.

The council agreed during its November study session to give part-time employees $250 and firefighters $500. The bonuses take effect in 2013 and will be given out again in 2014 unless the council takes action to do otherwise.

The bonuses likely will be formally approved in December.
