DYER | A 40-year-old Dyer man suffered serious head injuries after he crashed his motorcycle in town early Sunday, police said.

Cmdr. Joe Cinko said, officers responded to Hart Street and Cherry Hill Road at 12:23 a.m. for a report of a crash. Cinko said the Dyer man was traveling north on Hart at the time of the crash and was not wearing a helmet.

The man was airlifted to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn with severe head trauma, Cinko said.
