Dyer's amended noise ordinance includes bands, DJs

DYER | The Town Council has approved changes to Dyer’s public nuisance ordinance.

The revisions include a clause concerning bands and dics jockeys that was inserted into the section on entertainment.

The ordinance stipulates that entertainment loud enough to be heard by a person in a separate dwelling is prohibited between the hours of 10 p.m. and 7 a.m. Monday through Thursday and 11 p.m. and 7 a.m. on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Live bands and DJs are now included in that category
