SCHERERVILLE | An all-day fundraising event in Schererville will benefit longtime Dyer resident Debbie Burns, who was diagnosed with a form of skin cancer.

The rally will begin this morning at the Patrician Banquet Center, 410 U.S. 30 in Schererville.

Registration for a motorcycle run starts at 9 a.m. Riders will leave from the banquet center at 10 and return by 1 p.m. Those who want to participate but don't have a motorcycle are welcome to join the car caravan behind the motorcyclists. 

The second phase of the event is a benefit that begins at noon at the banquet center. The benefit ends at 8 p.m. and includes live bands, a buffet dinner and auctions.

Tickets for the motorcycle run are $20 per rider, which includes entrance to the benefit. Tickets for the benefit are $10. Entry to the event includes food and live music with a cash bar. All funds raised will go directly to Burns.
