DYER | The town has gotten some neighborly cooperation in a situation regarding a fence and some Dyer residents.
Town Administrator Rick Eberly has contacted village of Lynwood Mayor Eugene Williams about a sagging fence at a Lynwood mobile home park directly abutting Dyer.
Williams has promised “to get right on it,” Eberly told the Town Council.
The park directly abuts the Dyer town line at Monticello Drive. A fence which forms a barrier between the park and Dyer homes needs repair and it’s been “Dyer residents who’ve been propping it up,” a situation they’ve brought to town officials' attention, Eberly said.
The park is privately owned, but even though the village of Lynwood itself can’t fix the fence, village officials can use their influence to get necessary repairs made, he said.
