DYER | Local salons, fitness centers and beauty schools will be giving of their time and talent at Faith MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) Annual Spa Day, set for today and Friday.
Professionals from Zen Wellness, Terra Salon & Day Spa, Be Well, Fitness Pointe, Intrigue Salons & Day Spa, and Trend Setters, along with students from Excel Academies of Cosmetology, will be treating 140 hard working mothers to mini massages, mini manicures, and make-up application tips.
The Spa Day will conclude with a raffle for items donated by numerous local businesses, including salons and restaurants, but also a bowling alley, jewelers to an ice cream parlor.
“Every year our moms are so blessed by the many professionals and students who turn out for this event to pamper us. We have 140 members from all over the Tri-Town area. Spa Day gives these moms a chance to refuel. It’s an opportunity many of the moms would not have otherwise,” said Leah Denson, Special Events coordinator.
