HAMMOND | The parties in a civil lawsuit against former East Chicago Mayor Robert Pastrick filed an agreement in federal court to dismiss the case.
Hector Lopez had sued Pastrick, Kevin Pastrick and the city of East Chicago in 2005, seeking relief for what he described as illegal conspiracy, unreasonable search and seizure and retaliation for free speech.
Kevin Pastrick was dismissed from the case in October, according to federal court records.
The agreement filed Wednesday in U.S. District Court in Hammond is pending the judge's approval.
