EAST CHICAGO | The East Chicago Labor Coalition for Better Schools is hosting a candidates night for School Board candidates.
Twenty-seven people are running for nine seats. November's election marks the start of an elected school board for the city of East Chicago.
The public is invited to the event from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Sept. 20 at American Legion Post 369, 1401 W. Chicago Ave.
