E.C. council accepts resumes for various boards and panels

EAST CHICAGO | The East Chicago City Council is inviting professionals to apply for several board positions.

There are two appointments to the Redevelopment Commission, one to the Economic Development Commission, one to the Library Board and one to the Urban Enterprise Board.

Applicants must be residents of East Chicago, registered voters and meet the "good character" requirements set by Indiana law.

The deadline to submit resumes is 4 p.m. Tuesday.

Submit a resume and letter of intent to the city clerk's office, 4525 Indianapolis Blvd., East Chicago, IN 46312.
