EAST CHICAGO | The East Chicago Parks and Recreation Department is looking for residents' input as it drafts its five-year plan.
The department has scheduled four sessions to talk about its goals and objectives. Two of those sessions are for public input; two are focus groups.
The first public input meeting is from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Heritage Hall Community Center, 4506 Tod Ave. The first focus group is from 6 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Marktown Community Center, 3509 Spruce St.
The second focus group is from 6 to 7 p.m Feb. 11 at Martin Luther King Community Center, 4802 Melville Ave. The second public input meeting is from 6 to 8 p.m. Feb. 12 at the Roberto Clemente Community Center, 3616 Elm St.
