EAST CHICAGO | East Chicago Council members Christine Vasquez, 4th District, and Rosendo Cuevaso, 5th District, have scheduled a Neighborhood Crime Watch meeting for 5:30 p.m. tonight at the East Chicago Public Library, 2401 E. Columbus Drive.
The meeting is being held in part as a response to gun violence that has occurred in the city, they said.
"Fliers went out in the 4th and 5th district, but we're inviting anyone else who would like to attend," Vasquez said.
