EAST CHICAGO | The city is holding a public hearing on its Neighborhood Revitalization Strategy Area Plan at 5 tonight at the East Chicago Public Library, 2401 E. Columbus Drive.
The city intends to submit its NRSA Plan and the amended consolidated plan to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development by Feb. 8.
City officials have placed the information on display through Feb. 4 during normal business hours at the mayor's office, 4525 Indianapolis Blvd., and the East Chicago Department of Redevelopment, 400 E. Chicago Ave., to obtain the views of residents, public agencies and other interested parties.
