EAST CHICAGO | When making your vacation plans for this summer, be sure to include the East Chicago Public Library on your itinerary.

Posters, photographs, books and other memorabilia about vacation destinations around the world are on display in the Templeton Gallery at the Main library, 2401 E. Columbus Drive.

The colorful exhibit is primarily made up of printed promotional materials from Travel Hut Travel Agency in Highland and Aladdin Travel Agency in Munster, along with personal photos and other items from the collections of the East Chicago Public Library.

The exhibit, "Away We Go," will be on display through June. The Templeton Gallery is open during regular library hours: 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
