EAST CHICAGO | I Too Sing America Organization of NWI Inc. will present its third annual scholarship fundraiser, Masquerade Mardi Gras - East Chicago Style Friday in the Discovery Ballroom at Ameristar Casino & Hotel, 777 Ameristar Blvd.

Festivities will be held from 6 p.m. to midnight for a donation of $40.

Live entertainment will be provided by Ted TJ Johnson, of Merrillville; comedian Brian Da Wildcat Smith; DJ Donald Jammin Hall. This event will also include a mask contest, New Orleans cuisine, dancing and shopping.

ITSA has awarded $500 scholarships to three Northwest Indiana students for the past four years.
