HAMMOND | From fine jewelry, sporting event tickets, autographed baseballs by Hall of Fame Legends to spa packages and vacations, the Nazareth Home Gala offered something for everybody.
The Nazareth Home is a 24-hour per day foster home for medically compromised babies and children from birth to age six. Their yearly Gala, held on Oct. 18 at the Hammond Federal Courthouse raised much needed funds for their charity.
"We were thrilled to sell over 400 tickets," said Toni Mola, Nazareth Home Gala committee member. "We are so grateful for all those who are dedicated to our cause and our special little girl Angel who is one of our miracles is being honored tonight."
As a licensed foster home in East Chicago, the Nazareth Home strives to give both medically at risk and victimized infants and toddlers a second chance by ensuring they receive vital medical care, a stable environment and a loving home. The Nazareth Home is a ministry of the Poor Handmaids of Jesus Christ and administered by Ancilla Systems, a 501(c)(3) tax exempt organization.
