EAST CHICAGO | Tires and rims worth $2,300 were reported stolen off a car parked inside a locked Indiana Harbor garage Thursday, police said.
A Markham resident told police he parked his 2001 Buick LeSabre in the garage of his girlfriend's house in the 3700 block of Ivy Street earlier in the week.
When he went to retrieve the vehicle, all four 22-inch Milano rims and Pirelli tires were gone, the man said, and the car was left resting on bricks.
Police said Friday there were no suspects in the reported theft.
